About the Owner - Jake Barker

I am a Red Seal Carpenter with years of hands-on experience in residential and commercial construction. I started Wanderwoods Build Company to bring a more personal, detail-driven approach to building—one where clients know who’s on site and can trust the work being done.

Outside of work, I’m raising a young and growing family with my beautiful wife. We have twin girls and a pup, which has shaped how I approach projects: with care, responsibility, and long-term thinking. I take pride in building spaces and pieces that feel solid, thoughtful, and dependable—because good craftsmanship should support real life, not complicate it.
